Release and Flow Solstice
The afternoon started with a mild sprinkle. Well, not so mild, but quick. You know, one of those winter Florida showers that are done in about 10 minutes. Quite refreshing if I may say so myself! We gathered at this mystical secret garden tucked away in the downtown area of Delray Beach. The rain droplets gave everything such a beautiful glow. All the colors just looked bold and vibrant. The yellows, oranges, and greens felt so alive and glistening! Perfect for the occasion. Jess from Real Connections welcomed everyone with the scent of patchouli for balancing.
Then she guided her guests through a gentle hatha flow transcribing the beautiful meaning of the winter solstice. It is a time to go inward and reflect on how to invite more light into every aspect of our lives. During Savasana, Jessbeinspired blessed us with the soothing healing qualities of her sound bowls, the echoing feeling vibrating in our eardrums. The class culminated with an intuitive message to guide the individual higher self. Red little pieces of paper were gifted to each member, as they took pen to paper writing down what they’d wish to release. Rolling them into a cylinder shape with a twisted top, an ignited flam burned them leaving no trace. The wind taking the ashes away!
