The annual DCC 5K took place on April 6th, 2019 at the Hard Rock Stadium. Held now for 9 years, the sporting event has opened an opportunity for all of us to aid present and previous cancer fighters. I watched eager participants run, walk, bike, and volunteer their way through the finish line. Proud to have raised funds for the continuation of innovative cancer research at Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center, every participant wore a smile on their face regardless of the heat and humidity.
The Polyglass team was no exception! The company who is known for providing quality roofing and waterproofing systems was now sweating away for a good cause. My camera and I were thrilled to be able to capture the willingness, determination, and dedication of everyone involved.
I share with you the essence of what took place on April 6th, 2019 with the Polyglass team. It was a result of ground breaking funds to continue making huge strides in cancer research. These efforts not only effect the South Florida community, but the country, as we change the way we think about cancer. Thank you Polyglass for having me aboard, it was my pleasure!
